World Book Day!

On Thursday, the entire Junior School dressed up as unique characters for their favourite books to celebrate World Book Day. Book Tokens were given to everyone to cash in for a free book. The day saw a range of exciting activities, such as Orienteering (using maps to track down hidden book characters!), a ‘Bringing Books to Life’ Workshop, and The Openbox Workshop’s hilarious story telling and show. They were also given a special challenge to see if we can guess how many books are in the library, and the winner received a voucher to spend at Waterstones. The challenge also raised money for the school charities. In addition this this, the Junior girls were also set a reading challenge to encourage them to try out lots of different books.
