Bringing Books to Life

Years 5 & 6 participated in a ‘Bringing Books to Life’ workshop. Megan, our brilliant West End choreographer, arrived at GHS and produced a wonderful dance for us to perform and be petrified by. ‘Coraline’, the theme, is a dark fantasy story and the girls danced through the stages of the story with various artistic movements, such as being electrified, being ‘rabid rats’ and doing group poses.

Reception also participated in another workshop, and had an equally fabulous experience!

We were acting out the animals and telling the story of the Enormous Crocodile. I liked the way the Roly Poly bird forgot he had feathers and flew in the air anyway!Lola, Reception
