Trips and visits

School trips play a crucial role in our curriculum and help to bring classroom based learning to life. All subjects offer trips as part of the syllabus ranging from day trips to the coast or local area to multi-week expeditions across the globe.

Curriculum visits, to destinations varying from the National Gallery to the Moorish cities of Southern Spain, bring subjects to life with hands-on experiences and the thrill of seeing a classroom topic in action.

Expeditions help pupils gain the confidence to take appropriate risks and the resilience to cope with adversity. Adventures that incorporate both the UK, such as the Three Peaks Challenge, and far-flung destinations, such as Cambodia, Zambia and China, provide exciting new experiences.
