Friends of GHS

Friends of Guildford High School (FoGHS) is a registered charity and brings together parents and staff of the Junior and Senior Schools to organise events. In recent years, FoGHS activities have raised almost £100,000 to buy equipment for the school, however FoGHS is about more than fundraising. We aim to deliver vibrant and fun events that raise smiles throughout the GHS community.

Parents, pupils and staff put their heart and soul into making GHS a successful school – the Friends provide a fun and fulfilling way to be an active part of that.

FOGHS CO-ChAIRS

Every parent is invited to join FoGHS. A voluntary annual subscription is collected each year along with the school fees. FoGHS is run by a committee of parents and school representatives. The committee meets twice each term to plan events and consider fundraising requests. Class reps organise informal social events for parents in their year groups. Our AGM is held in November.
