Geography Trip to Bracklesham
The intrepid Year 11 geographers braved strong winds and heavy rain on their coastal field trip to Bracklesham in West Sussex. Undeterred by the stormy conditions, they explored why the beach gets steeper with distance from the sea, and how and why sediment size and shape varies between different locations. In between data collection, there was even time for some fossil hunting amongst the pebbles. A soggy but happy day concluded with a well-earned hot chocolate in a beach cafe.
