Festive Eco Week!

Festive Eco Week saw a fantastic range of activities and event take place, ranging from making Christmas presents to debating ways to make our festivities more fun and at the same time kinder to us and our surrounding habitats. The Biology department organised bulb planting in upcycled containers as presents, DT ran 2 festive workshops making upcycled Christmas crafts, Feel Good Friday in the library made wrapping paper and cards from left over materials and the various debating groups have discussed environmental themes.

We also had a green team takeover of the menu and food grown by General Studies groups was on offer in the dining hall. Surrey Wildlife Trust have led various sessions the Frost Fair hosted 3 zero waste stalls, including our very own London Road stall with fantastically creative upcycled products made by our various DT workshops and individuals. Santa’s grotto even featured some inspirational school- made decorations!
