A Level Politics Trip to Houses of Parliament

Our A Level politics students had a fabulous day at the Houses of Parliament last week. They were stunned by the brilliant architecture of the building, and also throughly enjoyed talking to Lord Howell, a previous Cabinet Minister under Thatcher and Cameron, who had been the MP for Guildford for 31 years!

They also had an equally insightful and inspiring time at Downing Street, where they got the chance to pose for a photo outside the iconic black door at no.10, and chat to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Thérèse Coffey. Highlights also included meeting Downing Street’s Chief Mousecatcher, Larry the Cat!

It was an incredibly memorable day.
