Choosing a school for your child is an exciting time but it can also seem like a huge responsibility. No matter the age of your child, our experienced Admissions team will take you through the admissions process and be on hand to answer all queries you may have.
Before applying for a place, we advise every family considering Guildford High School for their daughter to come and visit us. You will see how we work, meet our pupils and talk to our staff.
We hold multiple events on normal school days so that you can see our school in action. Our school is open and friendly, and we are easy to talk to, enabling you to decide whether we are the right fit for your daughter before applying.
We were incredibly impressed with your school, its community spirit and the opportunities offered to the girls.

Normal entry to the school is at 4+ and 11+. Smaller intakes occur at 7+ and 16+. We do run assessments for other year groups when spaces arise but please do talk to the Admissions team about this.
All assessments are carried out in school. No overseas assessments are permitted.
Please take a look at the booklet below for further information on the admissions process.
Our Director of Admissions, Helen Moffat, and her team manage admissions to the Junior School, Senior School and Sixth Form. Helen and her team are very experienced and work very closely with the Senior Management Team. They have guided hundreds of families through the admissions process over the years.
We really appreciate the effort you made to make the admissions process relaxed and straightforward for my daughter.
