Pages In This Section

Welcome to the ‘Old Girls’ page of the Guildford High School website. The Old Girls Association (OGA) exists to offer all former pupils an ongoing point of contact with school, with old friends, former classmates and staff.  We have a membership of over 2,000 which extends across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.

OGA Newsletter

The OGA Newsletter is distributed to all members annually. While this newsletter does include current school news, we really want it to focus on ‘Old Girls’ of all ages, so we greatly appreciate receiving contributions of articles, news updates and photographs. To contribute a news item for the next newsletter please email your submission to or write to GHS Old Girls Association, Guildford High School, London Road, Guildford, Surrey GU1 1SJ.

Whilst it is never pleasant to deliver sad news, we feel it is important to recognise members of the Old Girls community who have passed away during the course of the year.

If you wish to share any news of this nature, please send us details, with a suitable photo, that can be added to the website.

We are always delighted to hear about Old Girls’ reunions that take place and encourage you to send news and photos of your event, so that we can feature them on the school website and in our next newsletter.

GHS now organises a 10-year Reunion in September.  This year, the Class of 2009 will be welcomed to a reunion lunch on Saturday 15th September 2019!

50-year Reunions are becoming popular events.  At the end of the summer term, a tour of the school followed by an afternoon tea is on offer to groups celebrating this special occasion.  Please contact Louise Stone ( for more details.

We host a major reunion every five years. Please watch this space for details of future events.

In September 2013, to celebrate the 125th year of GHS, we held a special event for former pupils and staff at the East Cloister of Westminster Abbey.

In September 2017, former pupils and staff celebrated Guildford High School at the East Cloister of Westminster Abbey.
