Wing Walk success

At the beginning of the year, it was brought to our attention that Angela Needs (a member of the Class of 1962) was celebrating her 75th birthday in a rather unique way.

At the beginning of July, Angela completed a wing walk, whereby she stood on a plane at 400ft flying 100mph for ten minutes. The daringly brave event was in aid of Parkinson’s UK, to raise awareness and remember her grandmother, who lost her battle with the debilitating condition at the age of 67.

The wing walk in Kent on Thursday was the most amazing experience ever! My renewed thanks to all of you who donated, for your generous and greatly appreciated contributions towards the research necessary in enabling sufferers of Parkinson’s Disease, to lead a more comfortable Life.
