GHS celebrates Partnerships Week

At GHS our fast-growing partnerships programme has given us the pleasure of meeting so many bright and wonderful pupils from local schools in our community. While the events of March 2020 and the subsequent time that followed altered the landscape of our partnerships programme, it meant thinking differently and creatively to ensure our relationships with other schools remained strongly connected.

Partnerships are relationships in which two or more work together as equals. They are built on shared beliefs and values, are inherently reciprocal, and create a more vibrant, inclusive community for all.

This week, we proudly support the Independent Schools Council (ISC) in their national Partnerships Week to help raise the profile of partnership work taking place between independent and state schools. Coincidently coinciding with our Kindness Week, it has been the perfect opportunity to reflect on what partnerships mean to us, the kindness it fosters and the joy it brings to all those involved.

We thoroughly look forward to embarking on future projects and welcome you to read our latest newsletter (page 18) and alumni magazine (page 24) detailing some of the recent partnerships we have been involved in.
