Former students launch UniMed and UniLaw

In 2017, two former students of Guildford High School launched two organisations with a fantastic cause for the Medicine and Law industry.

Sisters, Olivia and Virginia Szepietowski founded the businesses UniMed and UniLaw to provide medical and legal work experience, for students wishing to pursue careers in Medicine and Law. The inspiration for the venture arose after identifying a deficiency of university application support for students from all backgrounds, aiming to get into Medicine and Law at elite Universities.

Dr Olivia Szepietowski left GHS in 2011 and studied medicine, obtaining a PhD from the Imperial College London in Bariatric Surgery; whilst, Virginia left in 2013 to study Law and French Law at Exeter University and L’Université de Rennes. She is currently training to be a Solicitor with BDB Pitmans LLP.

Through UniMed and UniLaw, the sisters have successfully guided hundreds of students into their first choice universities by providing continuous support to help finesse personal statements and prepare for interviews and Aptitude Tests.

As they continue to develop their organisations, they are now branching into international student support in the UAE through philanthropic and commercial ventures.

As a community, we wish Olivia and Virginia the best of luck in their future business endeavours and careers.
