Chemistry Twilight Practical Session at Southampton University

On the 24th June, some of our A Level Chemistry students were invited to attend a Chemistry Twilight Practical Session at Southampton University. Students were given the opportunity to carry out a rewarding and challenging experiment in a recently refurbished, state-of-the-art undergraduate teaching laboratory, allowing them to develop their practical skills and explore Chemistry beyond the A Level syllabus. Just as importantly, the event gave these students the chance to gain insight into what it is like to study a science subject at university. We hope that this will inspire the group and give them confidence for their next steps!
