Alumni charity bike ride in aid of VetLife

Gemma Ives (nee Ellse), a member of the Class of 2011, has recently undertaken a mammoth cycle ride spanning 1,000 miles of the United Kingdom as she rode from Lands End, Cornwall to John O’Groats in Scotland.

The bike ride was in aid of a charity called VetLife, in memory of a colleague who took her own life last year. The charity event managed to raise over £8,500 in fundraising and sponsorship, which will help the charity in providing invaluable support to members of the veterinary profession who are struggling with mental health or their financial situation.

Congratulations to Gemma for the phenomenal achievement in raising so much money for a fantastic cause.
